Two-column format
Column 1 is the barcode value, column 2 is the product name (optional, printed under the barcode). Excel copies as tab-separated text and CSV files are comma-separated — both are recognized.
Check digits handled for you
Enter 12 digits for EAN-13 and the 13th check digit is calculated; enter 13 and it is verified. ITF-14 works the same way from 13 digits. Rows that fail are listed separately and do not affect the rest.

Three typical uses for bulk barcodes
Whenever people need barcodes in bulk, the job is usually the same: turn a list of numbers into a stack of scannable labels. SKU management is the most common case — an online store or retail shop exports its product codes to Excel, generates a few hundred Code 128 barcodes in one go, and sticks them on packaging or shelf locations so receiving, stock counts and picking can all be done by scanner instead of typing codes by hand. Asset tracking is the second: office equipment, tooling and returnable crates each carry a fixed asset number, so a batch of barcode labels turns the annual inventory into a walk-around with a scan gun. Production traceability is the third: lot numbers, work orders and serial numbers are generated to a rule, converted to barcodes and travel with the work in progress, so a problem can be traced back to a specific lot and shift.
Importing from Excel takes three steps. First, put the barcode values in a single column, and if you want a product name printed under each barcode, add it in the column to the right. Second, select both columns, press Ctrl+C and paste into the input box above — Excel copies as tab-separated text, which the tool splits into two columns automatically; if your sheet is already saved as CSV, the Upload CSV button gives the same result. Third, choose the symbology and label size, click Parse & preview to check the first six labels and the error list, then download the PDF or the PNG ZIP. To print onto blank die-cut sheets, pick Multi-up on A4 and the tool works out how many fit per page using 10 mm margins and 2 mm gaps. To print one at a time on a thermal label printer such as a Zebra, TSC or Brother, pick One label per page — the PDF page size then equals the label size, so nothing has to be scaled at the printer.
A note for US Letter users: the multi-up imposition is calculated for A4 (210 × 297 mm). Letter paper is slightly wider but 18 mm shorter, so the columns always fit and only the bottom row is at risk — print at 100% with page scaling set to none, and if a row is clipped, reduce the label height a little or switch to one label per page. Either way the barcode dimensions themselves stay exact, which is what scanners care about.
On data safety: this page has no backend. Parsing, image rendering, PDF imposition and ZIP packaging all happen in the JavaScript running in your browser, and CSV files are read locally through the FileReader API. Nothing leaves your computer and we keep no records — once the page has loaded you can go offline and still generate and download. That matters for sensitive lists such as customer codes, cost codes and internal work orders.
